OREGON

For Memorial weekend Josh and I headed up to Corvallis to see the Wards. We flew out Thursday night late and they picked us up at the airport. Friday Morning we got up and headed to the coast to Newport. We stopped there and went to the Aquarium. Rylee loved all the animals and kept calling everything a sea horse :) Josh helped her touch a starfish and the rest of the weekend she kept saying "I touched a starfish Nani." After the Aquarium we headed to Mo's for some fresh seafood. While we were down on the wharf we could hear a bunch of sea lions, so we went to find them and they were laying on the docks being lazy and noisy. Then we headed to the sea lion cave and it is so stinky!! On the way back we stopped to get out and put our feet in the ocean...can't go all the way there and not put your feet in :) It sure was cold though!!

Saturday we headed out to the Silver Falls and ended up seeing 6 waterfalls on a 4.5 mile hike! They were so pretty and we had lots of fun hiking to each one. Ashlee and I were not the smartest and had flip flops on and were covered in mud, oh well! Rylee didn't know what to think about her little ride, but after awhile she liked it. It took us a few hours and after we headed to the outlets.

Sunday we just hung out after touring all day on Friday and Saturday. We went and took some pictures even though the boys weren't happy :) Then we went and looked at big houses and in the one guys yard were 9 bucks. Later that day us girls went to feed the ducks and play at the playground. Rylee loves swings and slides and we played til I was tired :)We had so much fun even though it was a quick trip. Rylee didn't leave our sides most of the trip and just ran around saying "Joshie, Nani, Joshie knock it off, Nani look, Nani come here! Come play please..."We didn't get to see Justin much, but we did give him an early birthday present(his sweet new hat to match his bibs!!) and he came to dinner a couple of times!
