Memorial Weekend

This weekend all we have done is work, work, and work!!! I am about sick of weeding! We are trying to get our yard looking nice! It's amazing at how much time you can spend in the yard and money. It seems like it is a never ending cycle with weeds! Thanks to Jeff and Katijo and Oakley we got away for a little bit to go to dinner and miniture golfing that Oakley insisted on even though it was 10:30 p.m. and freezing, but it was still a lot of fun! Of course it has to be raining this weekend because it is Memorial weekend and it is always raining and cold this weekend it seems like! Hope everyone had a good Memorial weekend and its back to work tomorrow :(

SURPRISE!

Well I am a little behind on a few things so this will be a big post today! My sister finally made it home about 2 weeks ago. Little did we know what she was going to announce at dinner! She is six months pregnant! I was the first one to hug her when she got off the plane and had not a clue! She is due August 25 and is having a little girl! We couldn't be happier for them!! Here are a few pics while we were waiting for them to get home!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms!! Today for mother's day we went and ate at Iron Gate Grill. It has been our tradition to go eat at a buffet every mother's day. We ate at Coppermill for a few years, but the last two we have gone to Iron Gate. We all eat until we are sick and then roll out of there :) Wish you could have been home Ash, but we will be seeing you before we know it!! To my mom and Connie thanks for being great moms! We love you!

Annie's Shower

Happy wedding to Annie!! We had a salon shower on Friday night at Fredricos! It is so fun to have a girls night! Like Jen said on her blog, you would think we would be sick of each other after working together all week and then hanging out after work, but it is true we are like sisters!! Not only did she get lots of good gifts, we got lots of good laughs!! Girls we need to do this more often!! Love ya all!(I even got candice to FINALLY say love ya! If Jerry can say love ya, you better!!!) Also notice the brown hair now!!

Bad Hair Day!

Good thing I am a hairdresser and can fix a bad hair color, most the time! What started out being platinum blonde is now brown. On Wednesday I had this great idea to just put the bleach right on my roots because we don't leave any out really anyways. So we put the bleach on and I sat under the dryer and then rinsed it out. Well when I sat up it was so blonde that you could see my scalp! I was a little worried but didn't want to freak Ash out anymore so I said lets just add a little bit of darker highlights. So we did that and it ended up being good until the next day I was still a little concerned it was too light.

So Thursday after the salon meeting I asked Candice to put a few more dark highlights in my hair. So once again we put them in and I sat under the dryer. After 20 min we rinsed it out and this is what color it went....greenish grey!

This is me freaking out a little bit! Wondering what we are going to do! So we decided to tone it a little and see if that would help everything just blend. Well this is the next color I turned....orange!!!

Now I am really freaking out!! Candice and I sat there for about ten minutes wondering what to do and laughing about the whole situation too! The colors don't look as bad in the pics as they really were either!! So we finally decide there is nothing else to do but put a dark brown all over! I have now colored my hair 5 times in 2 days! At 11:30 p.m. we finally left the salon!! Thanks Candice for a long night of crazy hair!!!
