Welcome Home!

This past weekend Josh's brother Mathew flew home for the holidays. He has been living in Japan for the last year being in the Marines and was able to come home for Christmas! We are so happy to have him with us this time of year and hope to make some fun memories while he is home! Thanks Mathew for all you do and being a part of the Marines!

To start of the holiday's we headed down to Salt Lake on Sunday and went to the First Presidency Christmas message. It was a nice program and then we headed over to temple square with all the other thousands of people :) We were able to stop someone to take our family picture and then we were out of there! Afterwards we headed to an Italian restaurant that was yummy!
On Tuesday night we had dinner at the Bodily's and then helped decorate the tree:)

On Monday it was my works biggest sale of the year! It was the longest day ever!! 14 hours:) This is just the cute girls I work with.We are so excited for all the holiday adventures to begin....next welcoming the Wards home:) or at least Justin and Rylee til Ashlee can fly in! I hope everyone is enjoying this negative degree weather as much as me....NOT!! Happy Holidays!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I know I am a little behind, but I had a problem with my Thanksgiving pictures! I somehow managed to delete them off the computer and my memory card at the same time! So the only picture I did get was of the girls! Sorry guys :( This year we spent the day with Josh's family. We went over and had a nice turkey dinner and then headed to town to check out the stores a day early! Then we went and saw Blind Side which was so good. We had a fun day with the Bodily's and even got to talk to Mathew for a little bit. I am so thankful for Josh and all his hard work he does for me, my family, Josh's family, a house, two good jobs, heat, food, and much, much more! I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving...bring on Christmas I set all my decorations out yesterday!!

Halloween...

Josh and I don't usually get into Halloween that much, but this year I decided I would at least dress up for work! It actually turned out really cute, so I was glad I did. Thursday night I went out to my mom's and we ended up going through her costumes. Kayd thought it would be funny to try on some of them...Friday I went to my mom's school to see all the costumes and especially my mom and Aleisha because I convinced them they had to dress up too! They both looked super cute! While I was there I got to see my little cousin Sadie in her mermaid costume. Yesterday I just dressed up for work which was fun and then handed out candy last night to the trick or treaters. Josh and I spent the afternoon shooting guns up at the ranch, I shot all 7!! I was pretty proud of myself! Hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!

October coming to an end...

Well with October coming to an end I celebrated my 25th birthday this last weekend. We celebrated yesterday at Texas Roadhouse with my family and I was lucky enough to get to ride the saddle!! Yee Haw! I was hoping that I was tucked in the corner enough I wouldn't have to get out, but they got me. Thanks everyone for coming!Tonight for family night/my birthday we had dinner at Josh's parents and carved pumpkins. Then we finished the night with some yummy cheesecake! I was definately spoiled for my birthday!!

I also bought my Halloween costume today so there are pictures to come this weekend! I didn't want to be the party pooper, so I decided to just give in and get a costume! Hope everyone has a Happy Halloween :)

Ready, Set, Hunt....

Well as most of you know this last weekend was the opening weekend of the deer hunt. Colton and Jesse headed home from the warm St. George weather on Thursday to join Kayd and my dad for the hunt. Of course Josh was up in the mountains Friday night getting ready for the big Saturday morning. They all had a succesful hunt! They of course weren't too excited about pictures, but they know my mom and me too well! Good Job boys!!

Dustin and Josh headed out.

Random Excitement.....

My dad has this new obsession...cutting wood! Since Josh has been hunting every weekend I have been hanging out with my parents quite a bit. My dad has been cutting and stacking wood every weekend for the last two months like crazy. I remember going and cutting wood on Saturday mornings when we were little all the time, I guess he figures he can do it alone! Here is his pile he has collected:

I had to throw the picture of the pugs in too....They miss Rylee:)

Seems winter is on its way, we decided Chopper needs a new warm home. My uncle sold the farm and didn't need these calf houses anymore and said they would be perfect for him. So my dad made it into a nice dog house. Chopper loves his new home and can you believe how big he is...75lbs!!!

One of my best friends got married over the weekend and it turned out perfect! The weather was perfect for outside, she looked beautiful, and it finally happened!! It was so much fun to spend the day with them. Congrats Justin and Dana!!

Oregon

Two weeks ago I was lucky to take a week off of work and head up to Oregon with my sister and Rylee to help them move :( We loaded up our stuff and headed out on Wednesday night when I got off of work. We drove to Boise and figured that was far enough in one night. We spent the night there and then headed on our way to Corvallis. Rylee was perfect the whole trip, we bought her a travel dvd player and she watched it the whole way and didn't even make a peep. We had a lot to do while I was up there, but we still found time to play! We went and did a bunch of things while I was there. We started out by going to the farmers market on Saturday and the fall festival. Sunday we headed shopping....who doesn't love to go to shopping outlets! We spent the day in Salem at the outlets and on our way home we found a pumpkin patch with lots of activities and even a hayride behind a tractor! Rylee loved the animals and the hayride! Monday we were on a quest to find all the covered bridges we could(they are well known for these in Oregon) and head to the coast. We found some really cool bridges and got lots of cute pictures. When we got to the coast in Newport, it was little on the chilly side, but who doesn't love seeing the ocean. There is just something about seeing the ocean that just gives you a good feeling! Tuesday was my last day there, we headed to the big mall in Portland before I had to head to the airport. I had such a fun trip, but it was definately hard to leave. Especially when we got to the airport and Ashlee took Rylee from me and she cried and cried, yelling Nani, Nani!!! Thanks Wards for a fabulous trip!!! Love you guys!Rylee giving me nose kisses goodbye!
