Well about a month and a half ago, Josh's little brother sent me an instant message saying he had a secret and wondered if we could help! So he let us know that he was coming home from Iraq earlier then everyone thought! We thought he would be home the end of May or first of June! Well he had everything set up to come home March 10!! So for that long we had to keep a secret so he could surprise his parents and Justin and Lyssa! Well a few days before he came home he told his grandparents that live in Washington that he was coming home so they decided to drive down for the surprise! It turned out awesome!!! So Sunday night we called Mike and Connie and Justin and Lyssa and invited them over for dinner on Tuesday night at 7! Well Lyssa just knew that we were telling her that we were having a baby! Ha Ha! So Josh and I got off of work early on Tuesday and drove down to the airport to get him. It was so exciting to see him!!
We got home and his grandparents were waiting in the driveway! We parked their car in the garage and some of the other family came over too. When the doorbell rang I answered the door and hugged his mom and chatted. Well she walked around the corner and saw her parents and her grandma! They totally thought this was the surprise!! Meantime Josh and Mathew were standing up in the hallway looking out over the kitchen with their hoods up. After about 5 min I looked at Connie and she was just starring up there. All the sudden she started screaming and went running up to him. She was in tears, well Lyssa couldn't figure out what was going on and then saw it and went running and screaming too! What a great surprise!! We all had dinner and hung out for the night! He is home until the 27th then back to Okinawa where he is stationed!! We are so proud of you Mathew and glad you made it home safe!!!
Last weekend Josh and I went to Star Valley for the weekend to stay with my good friend Bethanne! We went snowmobiling all day Saturday back to some hot springs called Granite Hot Springs and then went swimming. It was so nice it was 112 degrees!! We just hung out and enjoyed our weekend off! Thanks Peavlers for a fun weekend!! This last week we have just been hanging out with Josh's family alot while Mathew is home! Today is my dad's birthday so we are going to go to dinner!! Happy Birthday Dad!!
