Parkers First Halloween

It was so much fun having Parker for Halloween. We had fun carving pumpkins a few days before, dressing up and showing off, and yummy food.

Halloween was a busy day for us, we went and picked up Miranda and Bryson and started our first visit at my moms school. Of course Grandma Debbie had to show off to the whole school and we were lucky to see Aunt Nikki. Then we were off to Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Reeders. They were so excited to see the boys. Next stop Bridgerland to see Grandma Colette and she of course wanted to show off the boys too. We were getting pretty wore out by this point, but we stopped off to Sunshine Terrace to see Kayd and he showed off to his friends. The boys were done by this point! We went home and took a nap and then we were ready to go again. That night we went to Grandma and Grandpa Bodilys and had some chili and went trick or treating to a few people there. Then we headed out to Colette and Rogers for the final party and saw Great Grandma Janet, Grandpa Stan and Grandma Debbie, Aleisha, and the rest of them. All in all it was a busy, but fun day.

My friend Amber had to stop by to snuggle Parker and see his costume too.

1st Camping Trip

We purchased a new camping trailer for Josh to take hunting and for us to go as a family. So we figured we better try it out before winter. We headed up Blacksmith Fork just for one night and my family came up too. We had hot dogs and smores for dinner and then Josh and my dad fixed a yummy breakfast! The weather was perfect for us and Parker loved it. He really likes looking at the fire at my parents and so he really loved it up there. I can't wait to go lots next year!!

4 Months

Parker is now 4 months! I can't believe how big he is getting. He had his 4 month check up on Friday and everything is looking good. He now weighs 13lbs and is 24 1/2 inches long. His weight and length are in the 15% and his head is in the 44%. He is just a little guy! At 4 months he is rolling EVERYWHERE!! He can go back to stomach and stomach to back! He loves sucking on his feet and always has a hand or toy in his mouth. He loves sleeping on his tummy too. He knows who mom and dad are and gets excited when dad gets home from work. He loves watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dora, and Jake and the Pirates. He is sleeping through the night and has usually a few naps during the day. He tried rice cereal for the first time this weekend and actually did better then I thought for the first time, but still didn't love it too much! He loves tubby time and has started splashing his feet like crazy. He loves to give kisses and has found his voice. He is such a happy baby and we love him to pieces!

3 Months

I really need to get with the program and do this on time :) Parker is just growing so fast! During month 3 he has started rolling over from back to tummy and only a couple times from tummy to back. He has decided that he likes to sleep on his tummy at night too and it freaks me out :) Thats another thing is he has graduated from mom and dads room to his own room in is own bed. I was quite sad about this but he wasn't sleeping good in our room so Josh said it was time. He has been doing pretty good sleeping through the night. He usually sleeps about 6 hours and then eats and goes back to bed for 3 more. He has also learned to grab toys, my hair, and the hair on grandpa Stan's chest :) He is starting to laugh and recognize who Mom and Dad are. He went on his 2nd vacation to Oregon and even made it to the Ocean :) My mom, Parker, and I got a wild hair and decided to drive to Oregon and surprise my sister for her baby shower. It was the greatest surprise ever. Parker did really good for driving 14 hours both ways. We love our little guy so much and can't wait for whats to come!!

Meeting Uncle Mathew

Josh's little brother has been in the Marines the past 4 years and we have missed him so much. So much has changed since he has been gone. We have helped him with several suprise visits and his final time coming home we were able to go get him. This was Parker's first time meeting Mathew. We are so happy for his safe return and for all his service he has done the past 4 years! We love you Mathew and are so happy to have you home!!

2 months/Blessing

I am really slow at getting Parkers 2 month post up and his blessing pictures. I took him in on August 22 for his 2 month check up and he is doing good :) He weighed 10lbs 9oz(13%) and he was 23 inches long(7%). He grew really long, but is still skinny!! Parker LOVES to smile all the time and has been sleeping pretty much through the night til he got a cold the last week. He can hold his head up so good and loves to be up looking around at everything. He got a new play mat and he absolutely loves it! I can't believe he will be 3 months on the 10th. On August 20 we had an awesome day with his blessing and Rylee's 3rd birthday. We waited til then so that Mathew would be home from the Marines and that Justin, Ashlee, and Rylee could be here. Parker was blessed by his Great Grandpa Russ and he did an amazing blessing. I couldn't have asked for a more special day. We had a huge crowd and yummy food.
