Well we had our final goodbye last night...Mathew left for Japan last night and will head to Afghanistan in the next little bit. He won't be home for another year and a half so it was sad to see him leave! We enjoyed the month that we have had him here with us. We are so proud of Mathew and thankful that he is willing to serve our country. We love you Mathew!

What a brave young man! I wish him well. Seeing guys like him in uniform always reminds me of how thankful and blessed I am to live where I do.
